You will no longer be able to access the Student Slack Workspace. You will still be able to communicate with students, staff, and other alumni via Slack.

You can see the full, up-to-date list of public channels bridged between Slack Workspaces by using the /join-channel command on Slack. You can also search for channels you want to join using the bot.

Note: Due to Slacks permissions, the /join-channel command will not allow you to see private channels that have been bridged between Slack Workspaces. In order to join a private channel, you must be invited by a pre-existing member of that private channels or by a Slack Administator).

Yes! All Alumni can access the BloomTech , as well as their Student Dashboards. You can access materials from before WEB20 via the Legacy Training Kit.

Your DMs will be preserved. You will only be able to access starred messages from the shared channels that you choose to remain in, so please be thoughtful while you configure your new Slack profile and request to bridge access to new channels in the Alumni Slack Workspace.

You will be a Multi-Channel Guest in the new Alumni Workspace. Multi-Channel Guests have many of the same privileges as Members. More information about Multi-Channel Guests can be found here.
